Founders Day 2026 Partner Spotlight: Jacobs

Since launching in 2022, BuildIT Founders Day has been shaped by partners who show up not just as sponsors, but as active contributors to the community. Jacobs has been one of those partners from the very beginning.
In 2023, Jacobs team member Vigor Lam stepped in to lead backstage operations to bring the program to life, while Chief Legal Officer Joanne Caruso and former Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary Justin Johnson joined as a featured speaker.
In 2024, Vigor and former Jacobs colleague Daniel Souza were recognized with the Built Community Impact Award for their dedication to mentoring and supporting the next generation of AEC professionals.
That spirit of leadership and involvement has continued, with Vigor serving as Founders Day Co-Chair in 2025 and again in 2026 as we head back to San Francisco.
