BuildOUT California was honored to be one of the underwriters for the public service announcement of the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) District’s July 28, 2020 Headquarters Tenant Improvement Contract Opportunities event being presented by Turner Construction Company. BART became the second public agency in the United States to codify LGBT business inclusion in their procurement policies which received a unanimous vote from the BART Board of Directors in September 2017. BuildOUT California applauds BART Directors Bevan Dufty and Rebecca Saltzman for their leadership on this economically important achievement.
