BuildIT's 2026 "Class Photo" at the AGC of California Annual Installation and Awards Gala

Each year BuildIT’s family and friends gather at the iconic Tonga Lounge at the infamous Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco prior to ascending to the AGC of California’s Annual Installation and Awards Gala.  This year’s BuildIT ‘Class Photo’ can barely capture all the people who joined us to toast the AGC of California’s Leadership, Staff, Honorees and Winners.

The AGC of California masterfully captured ‘lightning in a bottle’ with this ‘sold out’ event.  The vibe throughout the evening was simply electric. BuildIT would like to recognize and thank Pat Kelly, Vice President of Operational Excellence at Granite Construction and Immediate Past President of the Board of AGC of California, for his intentional engagement and visionary leadership in 2025.  We welcome our great friend, Ryan Aukerman, President of Griffith Company, as the incoming President of the Board of the AGC of California and look forward to working with him to collaborate on issues important to the construction industry as it relates to project funding, workforce development, and the use of alternative project delivery.

To the executive leadership and remarkable staff of the AGC of California – THANK YOU – for leading the largest chapter of AGC in the United States.  You set the standard of how an inclusive contractor community, representing the 4th largest economy in the world, can build quality jobs, careers and infrastructure!
