Mark Kempton is the Executive Director of the California Infrastructure Delivery Coalition (CALINFRA), whose public, private, and labor-sector members share a common vision for California where state and local decision-makers are informed about project-delivery options and have authority to use the approach most appropriate for each infrastructure project.

CALINFRA operates education and state-of-practice programs that promote efficient use of resources and successful infrastructure delivery. It also advocates for state and local policy changes that enable more flexible and effective delivery methods, improving the quality, sustainability, and resilience of California’s infrastructure.

Before joining CALINFRA, Mark founded and led Kempton Strategies LLC, providing strategic business-development and government-affairs services to infrastructure-sector clients. Previously, he led development of public-private partnerships in the western United States and Canada for Skanska.

With almost 35 years of professional experience, Mark has led corporate strategy development and coordinated corporate responses to public policy for Fortune 500 and Fortune Global 500 companies.
